The Student HUB, set against the existing dormitories, is a magnet for Sderot's young community, alive at every hour. Futuristic and interactive, it is a living hub, not a facility for one purpose. Across two levels of terraces, its architecture becomes a language of connection with the dormitories, settling into the topography, level differences becoming shared landscape. Within the Gaza envelope, angled concrete louvers and cantilevers shade the interiors while shielding against attack: protection becomes form, and form becomes identity. Below, a café, stage and offices open to the neighborhood; above, study spaces, a hall, studios and a protected fitness room face the dormitories.
