ASSEMBLY ROOM

A meeting room built around one continuous table seating about twenty.

The table is drawn as a horseshoe so that everyone sits within sight of everyone else, with a screen closing the open end. A raft of oak panels and recessed light lowers the ceiling over the table and leaves the perimeter in quieter light, keeping attention on the centre of the room.
